Association, the United Nations of the world ergonomics
community, Eric Min-yang Wang has been the first Vice President
and Secretary General and the second IEA Fellow from Taiwan. He
is a Professor and the Convener for Human Factors and Ergonomics
Program at the Department of Industrial Engineering and
Engineering Management, National Tsing Hua University. Eric
Min-yang Wang received his B.S. degree in Industrial Management
at National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan in 1975 and
his M. E. degree in Industrial Engineering at Texas A&M
University, Texas, U.S.A. in 1983. In 1992, he received the
Ph.D. degree in Industrial Ergonomics at Luleå University,
Sweden. He was the Director of the Construction and Maintenance
Services and the Dean of the General Affairs for NTHU from 1998
to 2002. He is the Vice President and Secretary General of IEA
